Who Are the In-Person Therapists at the Cary Location
Akejah McLaughlin, LCMHCA, recently relocated to Cary to join the Birch Therapy team. With experience working with military families, as well as individuals of all ages. Akejah brings passion and dedication to her work with families. Akejah recently completed Brainspotting certification for a client experiencing symptoms of PTSD. Akejah will be offering afternoon and evening hours for Cary residents.
Dakota Becker, LCSW, in Cary, NC brings a wealth of knowledge and diverse perspectives. Dakota’s background in early childhood trauma and attachment helps us to offer tailored, compassionate mental health counseling for children. Dakota, our Cary Therapist, specializes in working with kids from birth, along with parent support.
Additionally, Alexis Hall and Claudio Barrientos welcome the opportunity to meet with teens and adults at this location. Whether it be adjusting to a new life challenge, offering EMDR or Mindfulness, or working through a traumatic season of life, these licensed and seasoned therapists can help.
