Alex has a warm and easy going personality who focuses on developing a comfortable, safe space to discuss any pressing concern or emotional pain. Overall, he prefers a Person-Centered approach emphasizing active listening, non-judgmental support, and developing a strong therapeutic connection. Alex prefers not to rigidly adhere to a certain therapeutic model, but rather utilize the technique that seems best suited for each client’s specific needs. He often incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Brief Focused Therapy (SBFT), and Mindfulness techniques.

Alex entered the Counseling field 12 years ago because he knows what it’s like to personally struggle with mental health afflictions since his early teens. After learning healthier strategies and reaping the benefits, it seemed natural to dedicate his life towards helping others acquire emotional health. As a seasoned clinician who has worked with numerous clients, and thousands of hospital patients, Alex has encountered a lot of stories. He feels honored to partner with you in your unique story and help you discover ways to write new chapters that aren’t so burdened by emotional hurt, shame, and suffering. He possesses a unique ability to quickly develop a therapeutic connection, analyze a person’s struggles, and develop a suitable treatment plan. Alex likes to remind people there is hope for lasting change, and you are always worth the investment.
